MCP, explained without the jargon.
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It's an open standard, introduced by Anthropic in late 2024 and now supported by Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor and a growing list of other tools.
Think of it as a power socket for AI. Instead of someone copying data into a chat window by hand, the assistant plugs into an MCP server and asks it for what it needs: an order, a stock level, a customer's last invoice. The server checks the request against the rules you set, fetches the answer from your system and passes it back.
The AI never touches your database directly. It only gets the actions the server offers it, and nothing more.

The AI can look, not change. Write access is added only for specific actions you approve, like creating a draft order.

Each person connects with their own account and sees only what their role allows. A sales rep doesn't see payroll.
Everything is logged
Every request is recorded: who asked, what was fetched and when. Useful for audits, and for GDPR.
Hosted in the EU
The server runs on our managed servers in Europe, or on your own infrastructure if you'd rather keep it in-house.
